“Jenga Pamoja” is a Kiswahili term meaning “Build Together." It carries a deep sense of unity, collaboration, and collective effort. These principles form the backbone of this program.
Our anchor initiative in social infrastructure, JPP, seeks to bridge gaps in essential community services, particularly in education. It is about building together, brick by brick, as we restore dignity to underserved spaces. This program embodies our core philosophy of partnership, local ownership, and sustainability. At its heart, JPP is about creating innovative, future-ready spaces that support quality education in STEM, enabling communities to thrive and young minds to flourish.
The Problem We’re Addressing
Across Kenya, many public schools, especially in rural and underserved areas, continue to struggle with inadequate facilities that limit both learning outcomes and learner potential. Science labs are outdated or missing altogether. Libraries, digital access points, and creative spaces are either underdeveloped or non-existent. These gaps silently widen inequality and constrain the ambitions of thousands of students each year. JPP exists to change this reality, not through quick fixes, but through bold, inclusive investments in the very foundations of learning.
Why We Focus on STEM
We place a strategic emphasis on STEM education because we believe that Africa’s future depends on a generation equipped to solve problems, innovate locally, and lead globally. But STEM cannot thrive in theory alone. It requires an enabling environment. Through JPP, we are committed to building educational infrastructure that sparks curiosity, fosters collaboration, and prepares students to participate in the science and technology revolutions shaping the world.
Our First Expressions of the Vision
Our initial flagship projects, The Wilfred Gichina Community and Alumni Center and The Kiambu High School STEM Center, represent the first expression of this bold vision. These centers are more than physical structures; they are symbols of what is possible when we come together to prioritize the future of our children.
