Afrika Moyoni Fellowship (AMF)

Leadership with Africa at Heart

Afrika Moyoni Fellowship

Rooted in our earliest beginnings, AMF focuses on emerging leaders. Designed for young people between the ages of 18 and 30, the fellowship places a special emphasis on university students and recent graduates with a passion for impact and a heart for Africa. Through structured mentorship, values-based leadership development, and deep engagement with the continent’s most pressing challenges and opportunities, AMF seeks to shape a generation of leaders whose influence will echo for decades to come. “Afrika Moyoni” (Africa at heart) captures our unwavering belief that Africa's future will be built by those who carry it within them.

Filling the Leadership Formation Gap

Across the continent, there is no shortage of ambition, but there is a gap in formation. Many of Africa’s brightest youth are navigating their most critical years without structured spaces to reflect, grow, or be mentored by values-aligned leaders. AMF steps into this gap with intentionality, offering young changemakers the opportunity to deepen their purpose, sharpen their vision, and ground their leadership in integrity and service.

Leadership Built on Character

We believe that true leadership is not defined by titles or applause but by character, sacrifice, and the courage to do what is right, even when it is difficult. AMF is about forming that kind of leadership early. By walking with young people during their most formative years, we equip them not only to succeed but to lead in ways that are ethical, empathetic, and transformative.

A Movement of Purposeful Young Africans

Afrika Moyoni is more than a fellowship. It is a movement of young Africans awakening to their responsibility, ready to lead with both excellence and conviction. It is our long-term investment in the future of the continent, one shaped not just by power or policy, but by principled, heart-led individuals who are rooted, ready, and resilient.
